As my ROM date draws nearer.. I have to finalise all the small little details that are left outstanding.. Sigh.. ROM only lor.. Already giving me headache.. Cant imagine my customary 2 years later..

Actually i really rather stay in Singapore.. So many things still pending on my list.. Lots of changes in my life.. Well.. all i can say.. Going to Sweden is a very huge challenge for me.. I will have to take up this "challenge" and live life fully..

I live only ONCE.. So every step i take it live will affect my future.. Hopefully i am taking the right step.. :D

Seriously I know I should be excited, happy and filled with blissful thoughts.. But as the date approached, my heart felt heavy.. Confused, tired and troubled feelings filled me.. I feel terrible..

All I wanted to do everyday now is to waste my time away.. Well.. to all my wonderful pals, sisters and close friends.. Thank you for all the moral, emotional and mental support that you are giving me.. Without all of you, I really dunno how to go through this chapter of my life..

Japan Tokyo Trip - Oct 10-16, 2007

My second time to Tokyo.. I'm really blessed to be loved and pampered by so many people around me.. This trip is fully sponsored by my dear Auntie Audrey.. I tagged along with Auntie Audrey, Uncle Joseph and Cristy..

Day 1

- Woke up at 3am to catch flight to Tokyo at 6am
- Reached Tokyo at noon
- Explored around Kurumi Mansion's neighbourhood
- Nearest Tokyo Metro - Mozen-nakacho
- Lots of food, 24hrs Convenience Shops and Shop 99 (99 Yen Shop = S$1.30)
- Squeeze with Cristy on a single sized bed

Day 2

- Woke up at 4.30am because the stupid sun rise so early
- Had drink, fruits and breakfast served by Aunt
- Fish Market, Asakusa Temple, Ueno Market & Ropponggi
- Walk and walk until siao...... (argghh! i hate walking..)
- Legs sore and tired after at least 12 hours of walking...

Day 3

- Arrived Tokyo Disneyland at 10am
- Halloween Celebration @ Disneyland
- A crazy queuing day.. (Mickey - 1 1/2hr, Winnie e Pooh - 120min, other rides' queues - at least 30min)
- Ate lots of food.. Whaha!! :D
- Ended day at 10pm.. Damn tired and sore legs again..

Day 4

- Woke up at 12pm.. Finally one day of at least 12 hours sleep.. Super Shiok!
- Harajuku - Super packed teenage street
- Crazy shopping and searching for Vivian's & Melissa's shopping lists items..
- Shinjuku - Best skyview of Tokyo
- Cristy laughed in her sleep.. Ekkss!

Day 5

- Ueno (again), Ginza
- Shabu Shabu.. 12000 Yen.. So ex lor..
- Late night again.. Wahh! I wanna sleep...
- Pimples pop out like nobody's business (Disfigured)
- Start packing..
- Argghh!! Cristy hugged me while sleeping.. Eat my tofu.. Baddie!

Day 6

- Odaiba, (Super Scary Ferris Wheel.. I got fear of heights lor..)
- Poor Cristy & I cant wait for the ride to end

Fainted.. Whaha!!

After a long long time.. Finally meet up with Cristy again.. Miss you dear! :D

Cristy meet me at Outram Park MRT so that we can donate blood for the 1st time.. Well.. Brave little us took the courage to go as we know Blood Type O is running low.. So we decided to sacrifice our little lives to donate.. Hehe..

However only I get to donate in the end as Cristy is below 18.. She do not have the parent's consent form signed.. And they do not allow me to be her guardian.. Damn sad lor.. Sob sob..

Seriously i almost freaked out when saw the needles.. To make matter worse, they required a blood test on iron content in my blood.. Ganna poke twice.. Faint.. After the whole thing, i felt good.. Cos i know my blood can actually save a life.. (*pat on my back).. So proud of myself.. Haha! :D

After the donation.. I was seriously weak and hungry.. So we went over to Waraku (our fav restaurant) for lunch.. Yummy! i always love the food there.. :D

Hi guys..

As most of you know.. I'm getting ROM this Xmas.. Bob will be flying back from Sweden specially for this ROM.. Then i will be officially married and be Mrs Zhuo.. Most importantly, i will be staying in Sweden for 2-3 years with him..

Seriously, i'm having alot of hesitations now.. I do not know why.. But i am.. Yes, i love him the same.. Initially I was hoping desperately to get married.. Now when it's finalise, i wanted to back out.. I feel like running away.. But can't, if i do, Bob will have to pay a heavy penalty for this.. I can't bear to do this to him too...

1) I'm still young
2) Lots of career opportunities
3) No more wild / late nights
4) Tied down
5) No more $$$
6) Friends all in Singapore (except for Rai, she is my only friend in Sweden)
7) Dunno if Bob will treat me well
8) Dunno if he is really the ONE
9) Dunno if i will make a good wife
10) Dunno la.. Just confused!!!

Rai, thank you for your support throughout this period with me.. Thank you sharing your tips and advices on everything for this ROM.. So glad to have you as my good pal..

I know that in relationship.. No one can make a decision but me.. Sigh.. Help guys, for once in my life, i'm confused... Ahh!!! :'(

Celebrating my birthday since September 18 till now.. i'm so dead.. My parents are going crazy from all my celebrations.. Let's sidetrack abit.. Here's my conversation with my mum:

Played finger guessing games with them and I kept losing.. Lose = Drink.. So eventually i got HIGH again.. Faint.. With my party-going friends and their sexy dance moves and crazy jokes.. The night past quickly..

Ying & Xiu decided that it's time for me to go home cause i look really tired.. Xing Yao (Ying's bf) came all the way from another party to fetch us and send us home.. Thanks pals!

Way before my Bangkok trip, we have already planned to have my Birthday Dinner when i'm back.. Yeah!! More celebrations equal to more presents.. =D

We had quite a drama before we finally gather at LC's brother's shop.. Seng Kee Black Chicken Herbal Soup.. They are located at Changi and have another one at Bedok.. They are so famous for their food lor.. Already crowded when we reached..

Well back to the drama, our dear LC left her hp in her office.. I called her hp so many times that it will burst lor.. Luckily her colleague picked the my call after all the ringing and told me she forget to take her hp and left the office early.. Faint..

Poor Serene & I were supposed to wait for her at Kembagang MRT at 7.30pm.. We waited for awhile and decided to wait for her at her brother's shop instead since she don't have her hp with her means she can't contact us.. Luckily she is smart enough to go to the eating place directly.. But she was late lor.. Say 8pm.. By the time, Serene, Wee Kiong & I were hungry le.. Jowell arrived shortly after..

We had a feast lor.. She ordered lots nice food for us, actually more than we could consume.. My favorite is Ah Hock Beancurd.. Soft, silky & yummy with porkfloss toppings.. Thanks people for the dinner, present and importantly.. all the advices for my wedding cum "sex life" after marriage (so embarrassing).. Hugs!

Going for a trip with parents is really a challenge for me.. Firstly we will have to take care of their needs (in terms of food, culture, language, etc..), secondly NO SHOPPING for more than 1/2 hour as they will get tired..

Great price for our drinks as we know the owner.. And since it's my birthday, they gave me free food (pizza snack) & Waterfall (alcoholic drink) on the house.. Played a couple of crazy card games.. Last theme of the day, drink Waterfall.. After drinking i felt ok.. But in less than one min, i KO.. Dun remember what i do, just know that John sent us to Dragonfly and heard from the girls that i molested Jesslyn.. Whahah.. :D

After a couple of ding-dongs.. We finally settle for Menotti to have our dinner gathering.. Initially it was suppose to be in Steamboat @ Marina South, then change to Seafood @ East Coast, then Dinner Buffet at Shangri La.. We just can't make up our minds.. Hehe.. :D

Meisin & Xiu know me since primary 4 and for Ying & Jin Hong, they know during secondary 3.. Time realy flies.. We have been friends for more than 10 years le.. At this age, we started talking about marriage, getting the right guy, children and even sex life.. Dinner was really good..And because it's my birthday.. Menotti gave us 2 cakes on the house.. Yippee.. We love the cakes.. Yummy! :p

After dinner, Meisin have to leave first as she is actually on MC since last week due to infection.. But she's really sweet to come for this gathering.. Thanks girl! The rest of us went to Balaclava for a drink while waiting for Frederick to pick us up for dinner.. Both of us were trying to help Jin Hong get a girlfriend.. Jin Hong is our "Bro" since school years.. A very caring, nice and thoughtful guy.. Anyone single girls out there who wanna date him, please IM me..

Poor Frederick didn't had his dinner as he rushed straight from his classes.. So we went to East Coast Road for him to have his dinner (which is already supper time lor).. Meanwhile Weimin was on his way to meet us for his dinner too.. Aiyo, guys nowadays do not know how to take care of themselves le.. Tsk tsk.. Chat for awhile before we decided to have a change of venue as it's pretty warm being in an outdoor venue..

We went to the next shop, Hong Kong Cafe.. But it was super crowded lor.. So Frederick proposed to go Hong Kong Tea House instead.. Just 5min drive away.. We arrived at this huge tea house.. There was basically no crowd.. So we get to sit anywhere we wanted.. Again we chatted about anything under the sea but mainly focus on sex topics.. Err.. Adult talk you may say.. But it was really interesting to know alot of things from a guy perspective..

This Frederick is damn funny lor.. Got Giant-sized Poker cards, super tiny mahjong tiles and Monopoly in his card.. We were laughing away when we saw the games.. The poker size is at least 5x it's original size lor..

Being bored of talking, we decided to play some card games.. Red indian.. Rules of the game, everyone is to have a card without looking at it and place it on his/her forehead.. The one with the lowest number loses and will have to do a forfeit.. The trick of this game is to confuse the players by making them keep their cards if it's a small number or making them change their cards if they draw a big card..

Since you will never know your own card until the end of the game, you really have to be smart on whether to keep the cards or change them for a new one.. We had a crazy time tricking each other.. For the first few rounds, forfeit was eating salt.. Then to make it more exciting, the loser will eat pepper instead of salt.. Lucky me, only eat pepper once.. Or maybe i'm just plain lucky and smart lor.. Whaha! :D

The entire session ended as it was already 1am and all of us had to work the next day.. Sad to leave but we know we will have more gatherings next time.. I can't wait.. :p Miss all the crazy times we had during school days from having chalet to fishing, playing photohunt, taking neoprints and many more..

Left work at 4pm today to meet BZ.. Our dear BZ has gastric flu and is actually on MC but still come out to meet me before my class.. Hasan fetched BZ from Whitesand and send us to Downtown East Costa Sand as we headed down to book a chalet for her birthday in October.. Lucky girl got the Halloween Package for 3 days 2 nights with Party packs & Theme Park tickets for 4 at a really cheap price lor..

Accompanied her home for her to bathe & change her clothes so that she can accompany me to East Point for my Class.. So sweet right.. Hehe.. Ling came at 8.30pm to meet us after my class.. We had our dinner at Sakae Sushi.. Chatting about old days.. Sigh.. Time really flies lor.. So fast 10 years of friendship le.. Our fine lines & eyebags start to appear on our faces le..

Ling bought my a chocolate cake and they make me pai seh... Sing birthday song so loud.. I think the whole Starbucks customers know my name liao.. Had fun taking more pictures of the celebration process.. Thanks Jies!! :D

It is my first time being crazy over these guys lor.. Never once had it happen during on school days on idolising anyone.. I'm adnormal hor.. But whatever.. :D It adds entertainment to my life.. And Life goes on..

Yesterday was my Chinese Lunar's Birthday.. The date is determined on the Chinese Calendar based on the day I was born.. Mine is consider a good date on be born on: Chinese 8th Month & 8th Day.. Lucky me!! :D

Finally get to meet up with Jess after our last meeting.. (Sorry for not able to meet you earlier, Jess) Cristy join us for our little meeting.. Suppose to meet 6.30pm at Tampines' Century Square where Xiao Bei (this taiwanese snack stall at B1) is.. Xiao Bei was 1st introduced to me by our dear Jess.. And i fell in love with the food.. Yummy..

Anyway I was late as there was a crazy jam near Eunos MRT.. Total 4 traffic lights took us more than 20 min to leave the place.. Sian diao.. Late for our meeting but luckily i have VERY patient friends.. :D

Had our dinner at Xiao Bei with Delicious Bento set that consists of Rice, Special Chicken Wings, Fried Mushrooms, Green Beans and a drink.. We ordered 3 sets of Bento & 2 sets of Cheese Tofu.. YUMMY!!!

Then we took the escalator to the Billy Bombers on the 5th floor as Jess insisted that we should exercise than to the take the lift.. Lazy me.. We were really full so we ordered drinks, cheese fries and a cake to snack on.. Jess gave me a lovely glass tinted Jigsaw Puzzle on Disney Couples.. I love it.. Thank you Jess & Keri for this wonderful present..

Melissa is one of my really close pal.. We grew up together.. From our crushes, to our first boyfriend, 1st makeup set (Lancome).. A typical Ang Mao Lian (Ah Lian who speaks only english).. She is one loyal friend and always there for you when you need her..

Back to why i do my eyelash extension.. Every girl wants to look good too (esp when you see Melissa's face lor).. So she brought me to Michelle (her eyelash extension lady).. Michelle is really good.. Professional, funny, real and most of all.. it only cost $50 for 1st timers, free refill for 1st week, $10 every top-up..

Worth it man!! Melissa commented i have dolly eyes.. Everyone around me notice the difference and told me my eyes look bigger and i look fresher.. Thanks Melissa & Michelle.. Hugs!

Recipe - Chawamushi (Japanese Steam Egg)

This recipe is for enjoying the texture of eggs at the most tendermost but easiest level. It has the sweetest aroma I have ever tasted in eggs using the least ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:

- 2 eggs

- 1 cup cooled chicken or fish stock

- 1 dash sake 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce

- 1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken breast meat

- 1 shiitake mushroom, sliced into strips

- 2 sprigs fresh parsley, for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

1) In a medium bowl, whisk eggs gently while slowly pouring in the chicken stock, sake, and soy sauce.

2) Divide the mushroom and chicken evenly between two small tea cups.

3) Pour the egg mixture into each cup until filled.

4) Bring about 1 inch of water to a boil in a steamer or saucepan.

5) Reduce heat to a simmer, and place cups into the steamer.

6) Cover, and steam for 12 minutes, or until egg is firm but soft and silky like tofu.

7) Garnish each cup with a sprig of parsley, and serve.

We, cousins are suppose to meet for volunteary work today however it was cancelled.. Called Sus at 7.10am and she finally got her daddy to wake up at 8.15am.. But they drove directly to Boon Keng Market and forget about poor little Cindy is still in Tampines.. I dilly dally for 1 hour then took a cab ($10) to Boon Keng..

Surprise, surprise.. When i got off the cab, i saw Cristy and SK strolling under the block.. SK pushing his bicycle and inside the bicycle's nasket is Cristy's hand-made brownies.. >( Cristy say I cant have any brownies for my birthday was I'm suppose to lose weight lor... Sigh..

Meimei and Sus came down shortly.. Meimei took a video accidentally on Cristy & SK whilt taking a photo for them.. They are damn cute together lor.. And the best thing is, they have the "Fu Qi" (Husband & Wife) looks.. Hehe..

Since we are all broke.. We made Abalone & Mushroom noodles soup at Cristy's house for lunch before heading to Jurong Entertainment Centre.. We had a fun time teasing Cristy with SK the whole afternoon.. Cristy blushed****** Many times lor...!! xD

After the long train ride, we finally reached Jurong Entertainment Centre.. So excited lor.. I didn't ice-skate for about 10 years le.. Super nervous.. When we reached Fuji Ice at 2.30pm.. There was a sign-board stating that the place will close at 3.30pm today.. So sad.. We spoke to the auntie at the counter and she also advised us not to waste the money to play for just 1 hour.. ($58 for a group of 4 with skates)

Since we came all the way to Jurong, we decided to stay awhile and watch others skate.. And you know what.. We were all drooling over cute young boys lor... Really youngs one lor.. But they are really cute la.. Cant help not looking lor.. Haha! :D

We were really sian diao (disappointed) that we cant skate.. We went to the Arcade and Cristy, Sus & Mei played this Drum game and they suxs big time.. Haha!! Then we were getting thirsty so we decided to go Long John Silver as I personally think they serve nice fries.. We shared a Large Ice Tea, 2 Large Fries with 2 extra Salsa Cheese.. We managed to get a CLEAN NEW fries holder for Oinky to sleep in.. Yippee!!

Since we were already in Jurong, I brought them along to pay Bob's parents a visit.. We seriously run for our lives to chase after the Bus 98 lor.. Haha! It was really funny.. Bob's parents brought us to this tree at Jurong West with 2 monkeys on it.. It looks really real and lots of people were praying the tree too.. Amazing Singaporeans!!

Before going, we heard that many people won 4D after praying to the tree.. We then cut 10 pieces of paper, wrote 0-9 on the papers, crushed them and put them in a red container.. When we reached, we squeezed our way through, grab joss-sticks and pray for lucky numbers.. Each of us took turn to pray and get a lucky number (from the oldest to youngest, Me, Cristy, Mei then Sus) Then Uncle quickly drove us to the nearest 4D booth as it will close at 6pm and it was already 5.30pm at that time.. When we reached the nearest booth.. The queue was super long.. Luckily Auntie saw someone she knows in the queue and we bought our numbers withour queuing, yippee!!

Had dinner at the nearest coffeeshop together and Sus didnt touch any Veg lor.. Tsk tsk.. We finished everything edible on the table.. Good girls, pat on our backs.. :D After dinner, we walked back to Bob's place to rest and his parents showered us with lots of food.. Mooncakes, Pomelo, Vegetarian Fish, Beancurd and snacks.. No one went home empty-handed.. We took the train home from Jurong East MRT and we were so UN-glam lor.. We sat down on the floor of the last cabin and chatted throughout the journey.. Thanks girls, had a great & fun time today.. Hugs! :D

Kindof being forced to go Dragonfly cos i don't really like to chiong.. But since I didn't chiong with my best friend (Ying) & Xiu for quite awhile.. I finally agreed.. I wanted to go home to change and look good after dinner with my friends from Peoplesearch.. But who knows, my dinner ended at 10.30pm.. The worst thing is I was in just T-shirt and jeans with NO makeup.. Along with a huge bag as I had to go to Dad' project site in the day..

If they had a worst-dressed award, it will definitely be me.. Sian.. Ying & Xiu came with their sexiest outfit.. Xing Yao (Ying's bf) came along as his friends has another table in Dragonfly too.. We queued for 2 hours at the members' queue just to get in.. Weird right, members need to queue for so long, even longer than people who are not members..

Cherylyn, Feline, Uncle John came awhile later with their group of friends.. So with friends, friend's friends.. The crowd got bigger.. It was fun making and watching them drink themselves silly.. I'm the only person who is sane as i don't drink at all.. With 2 Martells, lots of mixers, Apple sours shots and martinis.. They were all crazy partying.. Had a great time together with all my dear friends.. Thanks pals! :D

Finally get to meet Mini up for dinner before her baby is due so delivery.. I'm so happy to see her and her "basketball" (which she describes to me).. We had dinner together with Christina, Vivian, Ashish (Mini's hubby) and Brandon (Viv's bf) at Menotti.. You can consider this gathering as the Ex-Peoplesearch Contract's Team gathering minus Stella as she need to comfort her friend who just broke up..

Once again we ordered the Spinach & Crab Soup with 3 different types of pasta.. Our favorite is the Crab pasta with light sweet tomato sauce.. And of course the Spinach & Crab soup.. it is yummy.. Best soup in the world.. Had 4 different desserts and we finished all of them.. Yum! :D

We had a good time together, laughing, joking and talking about almost everything under the sun. Mini gave me a pressie for my birthday.. (1 Starmovie T-shirt, 1 Chicken Soup for the Girlfriend's Soul, 1 cup and VIP tickets for 2 for the show The Invasion starred Nicole Kidman).. Viv gave me a piglet pillow (my favorite disney character) and slimming cream from Japan.. Stella gave me a beautiful heart shaped necklace and a tiny coin purse.. Thank you my dear friends, i love the pressies..! :D

Cristy has this exchange program with Japan Nursing students.. She is assigned to host Namie, our dear Kawaii friend.. She came to Ah Ma's house on saturday evening to have home-made dinner with us.. Since i'm supposed to meet HX at redhill market after his soccer, i asked them along to see Singapore's night life and our LOVE for EATING..

Took the 250(Taxi) to Redhill MRT because we do not want to be late.. Who knows, HX is later lor.. While waiting, we let her try Taiwan Bubble Tea - Honey Milk Tea w/ Pearls & Strawberry Ice-blend w/ Pearls.. Shiock ah! :D

Finally HX arrived then we walked over to Redhill Market.. We are really full but wanted her to try local food as we continue to eat & eat.. Food ordered: Fried Wanton, Black Fried Carrot Cake, Chicken & Mutton Satays and Sugarcane drinks..

Since it's still Chinese Ghost Festival, we wanted Namie to see Getai so I bought the Lianhe Wanbao to check on the location.. Location picked, Penjuru as the host is the funny lady from 881.. Took a cab and Taxi Uncle went round & round the Penjuru Estate but cant find the Getai.. So we decided to try the Penjuru Industrial Park.. To our surprise, the Getai was really held there and long queues of vehicles along the roadside just to see the Getai.. We didnt want to drop as it's dangerous to stay in the industrial till late so we asked the uncle to reroute to Jurong East MRT instead..

Took the MRT to Cristy's house to collect Namie's clothes so that they can stay over my place for one night.. Then we took Bus 66 to Bedok.. Along the way, we saw another Getai and a Pasar Malam (Night Market).. We quickly alighted at the bus stop and brought Namie to see what do Pasar Malam sell.. We bought a $10 Limited Edition Disney Princess Monopoly.. Since we are so near Bedok 85 Market (Famous Supper Hunt) so we took the 250 (Taxi again) to our destination..

1am on Sunday morning and after having dinner twice (6pm & 8pm).. We are going to eat again.. Haha! Namie is really amazed how much we can eat.. By the way, she eats alot too.. Hehe.. This time, we ordered: Bak Chor Mee (Namie's famoue dish), BBQ Stingray, BBQ Chicken Wings, Meat Porridge and Tang Yuan for dessert.. Wow.. We eat until we wanna puke le.. Cristy was forced to stuff the LAST tang yuan in.. Poor Cristy.. Tsk tsk.. :D

Reached home finally, we took turns to bathe and started playing Monopoly while waiting for our hair to dry.. (Only Cristy didnt wash her hair.. Yucks!) Play until cannot tahan then I surrendered and went to sleep..

Woke them up at 10am the next day and we have Malay food for breakfast (Eat again le..) This time we ordered: Plain Prata, Egg Prata, Nasi Lemak, Teh Tarik and Milo Dinosaur.. After breakfast, Daddy send us to Bugis Street to pray and bought Bak Kua for Namie.. She loves it.. Oishi, she exclaimed.. :D

Went Lau Par Sat for dinner on monday with the whole groups of exchange students from Japan, including Nanyang Poly's Lecturers (they thought i'm one of the student.. i look young le..) This time we ordered: Butter Crab, Assorted Tim Sum, Pui Tee, Chicken Rice, Ice Kacang, Chin Chow, Satay and fruits... After dinner, we strolled Esplanade to see Merlion, then to Glutton Street, Singapore Best View @ Swissotel (they were amazed and love the toilet more.. haha), lastly had cakes & ice-creams at Menotii (because it's 1/2 price after 9.30pm).. Yummy..

A super fun & crazy week for me and get to know lots of new friends.. Thank you Cristy! Hugs!

Mum heard alot about 881 on the radio and told me that she wanted to watch.. Since Mum & Dad didn't watch any movie for at least 10 years, I decided to bring them for a movie..

Mum is a very thrifty person so to ensure I do not spend to much on the tickets, we went to Bedok Princess Cinema which cost only $5 from Mon - Wed and $6 on Thur & Fri.. Bought 4 tickets for Mum, Dad, Cynthia & myself.. Please do not have high expectations on the cinema.. The movie threatre looks like it is still struck in the 80's (when Mum & Dad were dating).. Glad that Mum & Dad enjoyed the show and our company.. :p

881 is about life in Singapore's Getai (Direct translate of Getai is Song Stage) A very good movie to catch.. Super funny and also super touching lor.. I cried and laughed many times throughout the show (makes me sound so crazy right?).. A must watch movie ya, support Singapore production! :)

Finally.. After waiting for 5 years.. (wait until i'm old, fat and ugly le..) We are going to ROM this Christmas.. So my dear friends, remember to mark your calendar for my special day ya.. :P

Didn't know that ROM can be so troublesome.. Luckily I'm blessed with so many great friends 7 cousins around me to assist me on this preparation while Bob is in Sweden doing nothing..

List of things that i need to worry about for just the ROM preparation (ROM already so troublesome, i cant imagine my Customary Dinner 2 years later..)

1) Solemnizer - Need to contact them and invite them for the solemnization, and "HOT" ones like Prof Yu, Mr Chan etc.. need to book early as they are always taken
2) ROM Venue - Wanted an Outdoor venue and a special place for us as the venue will be written down on the marriage cert.. Places in mind are Singapore Polytechnic (our school), Sentosa (the place we met), Changi Yacht Club (near his Navy site)...
3) Wedding Bands - Too many options and designs.. I see until I blur.. Worst thing is, Mr Bob haven't give me his ring size..
4) Buffet Caterer (Halal) - Need to find a good caterer to make sure set-up, food and service is good.. Recommendations anyone?
5) BBQ Caterer (Halal) - Want to have more food options for my guests (lucky them)so thinking buffet + bbq will be fun..
5) Venue Set-up - Need to find a professional to set-up the place with decorations and flowers.. And it's christmas day.. Maybe need to add some christmas accessories..
6) Emcee for the ROM - Do you think it is required? Hmm.. it will make the whole event more lively though..
7) PA System - Anyone knows where to rent PA system..
8) Wedding / ROM gown - So troublesome.. so fat now.. Very difficult to find le.. Time to slim down.. Sigh (need to exercise and eat less, what a torture..)
9) Groom's Suit - Err.. Dunno where i can get them.. Maybe Measure to Make (MTM)ba..
10) Make-up Artist w/ Hairdo - Still sourcing around, have someone in mind but do not know if she will do it..
11) Medi + Pedi - maybe french will do.. Haha!
12) Facial - Need to have nice clear face mah.. What to do..
13) Slimming Sessions - Slimming Sanctuary, here i come..
14) Matching Heels - How to find matching heels to go with gown.. So troublesome..
15) Photographer - Found! :) My dear friend, Faith managed to get her bf to do it for me at a good price.. Thank you Faith & Max!

Started my day at 8am (So early on a weekend).. Accompanied Mum to Tampines 800++ Market with Cynthia.. After she is done with her marketing, we headed straight to Bugis Street as Mum wanted to go Temple, go OG to shop for Daddy's stuff and also to buy herbal stuff near the temple.

Cristy (poor limping girl after her fall in Ubin), Ah Ling and Ah Girl joined us for lunch in Bugis then shopped together in OG. We shopped till we are really tired so i pestered Daddy to fetch us home. Finally, Dad came at 6.45pm.. We headed to Balestier to buy Mum's favorite duck at Golden Duck Stall for dinner...

Right after dinner, we went to Marina Square to meet up with Angel.. 2nd round dinner at Spageddies.. So full already, but we still managed to force down a plate of escargots, crayfish pasta and tiramisu..

We drove down to Clarke Quay at 8.50pm and parked near Ministry of Sound as we were suppose to meet Jess at Settler's Cafe.. Jess called me earlier and told me that she will be arriving around 9.30pm.. We strolled down the river to locate Settler's Cafe as it's our first time going there.. Who knows.. We were lost and landed at Funan Centre.. (Sigh.. Then we took a cab down to North Canal Road.. Jess was already there even though we were supposed to arrive first

So we walked down to the nearest coffeeshop for barley drink and headed back to Settler's Cafe.. Finally.. We got our table, ordered the Deluxe Set (comprises of a Snack Platter, 2 hours of gaming and one drink each).. Jess wanted to play Taboo but because Ah Girl is too young to play such game.. We played other brainless games instead..

German's Girl Shrine

The history of this shrine goes all the way back to 1914. Behind a secluded timber temple located at the northern coast of Pulau Ubin, there is a tragic urban legend unknown even to many Singaporeans. Strangely, inside the temple, you will find two physical objects as the centerpiece of worship. One is a beautiful porcelain urn placed on top of the altar, the other is merely a piece of rock of a football size on the floor under the altar. These two artifacts closely associate with a deceased white German girl who was mystified as a local deity in almost ninety years ago.

In August 1914, at the outbreak of WW1, British troops at night came to raid and prosecute a German merchant who owned a coffee plantation business and lived in Pulau Ubin. A young German girl who is the daughter of the merchant became frightened and ran away. Because it was dark at night, the girl fell down a cliff and was killed when her head hit on a piece of rock. The body of the innocent girl, however, was discovered by the local laborers on the next days, covered by termites. Out of kindness, they did more than just giving her a proper burial; a Kramat (a worship shrine) was built for her on the hilltop.

Years later, due to the development of quarry excavation on the hill, her remain was exhumed and transferred to another temple at the northern coast. What belonged to her, the remains that were put in a porcelain pot and this 'rock of destiny' were moved too.

The villagers continued to visit the new temple to pray.Through the passage of time, the shrine has grown into a popular place of spirit worship for the villagers because of the allegedly efficacious supernatural power of the German girl. Many worshippers especially the gamblers had their wishes granted.

Happy 42nd Birthday, Singapore!

While planning for an outing for National Day, decided to have some exercise involved (cos i grew really fat after the unhealthy Europe trip)

Before going there, i reminded Ah Ling to bring her passport (to tease her as it was her first time to Ubin) Mummy made lots of yummy food for us to bring.. Egg Sandwiches, Fried Noodles and her famous Yam Cake.. The Kiasu people like us brought cap, sunblock, water, extra t-shirt, towel and lots of money.. :)

Seriously.. I cannot be bothered to look good as no handsome guys there in Ubin.. So I was placed on the worst dressed list with boyish, fatty looks.. Who knows.. Hahaha!! :D

We started looking for budget bicycles.. Finallt ended up at the last shop.. Got our bikes at $7 for the entire day.. Only Cynthia paid $12 for hers as she wanted something better.. (Cos she cant really cycle lor.. Lousy..)

We spend our holiday on Ubin Island, exploring the entire island. Was really tiring as there were lots of upslopes.. Sian.. :P We cycle to Chek Jawa, Temples in Ubin, German Girl's Shrine, Quarrys, Ubin resort (for lunch), Jetty and other coconut drink stops.. :)

Poor Cristy fell badly cos she was looking at an old toilet which she finds amusing.. Tsk tsk.. Lots of Tender Loving Care from SK & HX.. Lucky girl :)

They cleaned up her wound at Ubin Resort where we had our lunch as the other resturants near the jetty were overcrowded due to overwhelming tourists from Singapore Main Land.. So smart little Cindy brought them to a place where you can find decent food and NO CROWD AT ALL.. I told them about the 3 giant fish in the Ubin's pond.. And they were amazed..

Had a great time and enjoy seeing new couples together.. Let's us all pray for 1st couple (HX & Lu Rong) and 2nd Couple (SK & Cristy) Hehe.. :)

The worst thing about the trip was waiting for Cynthia.. We were supposed to meet everyone at Tampines interchange 9am.. We reached at 9.30 instead.. Then when selecting our bikes, she went to the toilet and made us waited another 15min for her under the hot hot sun.. We sweat like pigs lor (i think even worse than pigs...)

I really enjoyed myself though i don't think i loss any weight.. Love the fresh coconuts.. And the kampung way of living.. And we went back at least $20 poorer.. Haha!

We cant make up our mind what to have for Lunch (err... or dinner) so finally we settle for Seoul Garden.. It's too too too expensive for the little ones (how can 4 students + 1 adult buffet cost $120)

We started from 3pm to 6pm.. Eat chicken and chicken and chicken.. Until we decided not to have chicken for the next few months.. Haha! Wonderful bonding with the little ones.. :)
